Mary’s Shelter is an interdenominational non-profit organization that relies on the financial support of individuals, organizations, churches and businesses. In addition, the Shelter hosts two fundraising events and conducts an annual appeal. The organization continues to seek additional funding through grants, foundations, trusts and donations of appreciated stock.

In 2005, an endowment fund was established with Wert Investment Consulting Group, of Wachovia Securities.

In 2001, a scholarship fund was established with The Berks County Community Foundation.

Mary’s Shelter is registered with the Bureau of Charitable Organizations. All contributions to Mary’s Shelter are tax-deductible according to IRS guidelines for 501 (c)(3) organizations.
