Bowl-a-Thon
Mary's Shelter Annual Bowl-A-Thon is scheduled for March 20 at Berks Lanes, Sinking Spring. Mary’s Shelter hosts only two fundraisers each year. These events offer an opportunity for families, friends, organizations, and businesses to not only support the organization, but also the opportunity to meet some of the women who are so truly grateful for your support. In 2009, a record 500+ bowlers participated in the Bowl-A-Thon. Individuals and teams may register for either the 12:30-2:30 PM session or the 3-5 PM session with the attached form. Two hours of bowling, shoe rental and refreshments are provided FREE! The only requirement is that you, the bowler, raise money for Mary’s Shelter. Simply collect money from your sponsors prior to the event, or your sponsors may choose to be billed for their pledge amount. A $200 Visa gift certificate will be awarded to the individual or group that collects the most pledges in each session. Gift certificates are also awarded to the other top 10 groups in each session. All money received from this event supports our housing and program services.
